Hey! I'm Sophia, and you may have seen me around the salons harassing your stylist into filming a reel, or asking you if I can take photos of your hair.

I love all things creative and artsy, so getting to work with a bunch of interesting, creative and talented people is a dream!
I also love learning, and learning about the science and art of hair has been so cool!!

What does your role look like?

The team!!! I love everything about my role but there's no other salon I'd rather work with! They live their values so well.

Why Ella&Jade?

Ella&Jade has been such a huge support from the start. I worked reception a few years ago, and when my mental health started deteriorating during Covid lockdowns, Alannah went above and beyond to support me, even making adjustments to my role to cater to my struggles. 
Last year I was offered the opportunity to do the blog series, and started doing the newsletters which I absolutely love! I'm now living my best life doing the social media - I mean come on, my job is basically hanging out, filming fun reels, and learning new things!

Beyond the Salon:

At the moment I'm learning Hindi and doing custom Bratz dolls for fun! I love anything art and music, and I do modelling work on the side which is basically just getting to play dress-up for work.
