Why Hairdressing?

I’ve wanted to be a hairdresser for as long as I can remember—it’s been a dream of mine ever since I was little. There’s something so fulfilling about transforming someone’s hair and helping them feel confident and beautiful. I’ve always loved the creativity involved, whether it’s imagining new styles, working with colors, or perfecting the details. Hairdressing lets me combine my passion for artistry with my love for connecting with people, and that’s what makes it so special to me.

Why Ella&Jade?

I chose Ella&Jade for its welcoming atmosphere, strong women-led values, and commitment to in-depth training. I’m excited to grow my skills, learn new techniques, and bring my creativity and positivity to the team. My favorite thing about the salon is how supportive and inspiring the environment is. 

What aspect of hairdressing are you most interested in and why?

I’m most passionate about making people feel beautiful and confident through their hair. Seeing someone light up when they love their look is the most rewarding part of what I do. While I’ve also grown to love the creative energy of styling, like fashion week inspired looks, it’s always been about helping people feel like the best version of themselves.

Beyond the salon:

Outside of work, I love spending time with my cheeky cat, Nancy—she's always keeping me on my toes but is so cute I can't stay mad at her. I also enjoy relaxing with a cold beer on a beautiful spring afternoon; there's something so peaceful about those moments. I have a pretty laid-back lifestyle, balancing work with downtime and finding joy in the simple things, like spending time with loved ones and appreciating the small pleasures in life.
