Dann recently made the move to sunny Brisbane from Melbourne, originally hailing from even further south in Tasmania. He’s always loved a good travel adventure, especially when it meant escaping the Melbourne cold, though he’ll admit he’s secretly a bit of a homebody too.
Now that chasing the sunshine is no longer necessary, he’s leaning into that side of himself more than ever - enjoying his routines, getting out for walks around the city, hitting the gym, discovering great food spots, and catching up with friends.
Now in his 22nd year of hairdressing, Dann’s passion for the industry continues to grow. For him, there’s nothing better than helping people feel amazing about themselves and giving them that extra boost of confidence when they leave the salon chair.
Not going to lie I wasn’t the best student at school and my parents suggested a trade. Once I got through my apprenticeship I never looked back my love hair and making people feel amazing about themselves just kept growing
I would say my biggest passion about the industry after 22 years is giving someone some escapism being able to switch off from the world and they’re day to day and make time for them and to also finish up with an amazing style feeling fantastic about themselves
I love Ella & Jades ethos every human every hair and giving everyone that amazing experience and not feeling like your typical hair salon. The team are amazing and I’m excited to learn from them share skills and grow with one another to make the team even greater
I live with my partner Fabrice who I’ve been with for 15 years and love spending a day together at the beach packing up some delicious snacks and drinks and making a day of it
