Anna has been hairdressing for over 15 years, with the last seven spent as a key part of the Ella & Jade team. Since moving from central Queensland to Brisbane in 2018, this chapter has marked the most significant stage of her career, filled with growth and achievement.
Over the past seven years, Anna has advanced from Senior Stylist to Master Stylist, Educator, and now Technical Director. Her work has featured across fashion weeks, campaigns, and photoshoots, while her own creative collections have seen her named a national finalist for AHFA’s Newcomer of the Year and Queensland Hairdresser of the Year.
In 2023, she proudly won Gold for Creative Haircutter of the Year in the Goldwell Global Creative Awards, which took her to Chicago to compete live on the global stage and this year to Milan as Australia’s gold winner - an experience she describes as a career highlight. Day to day, Anna balances a full column of loyal clients with her passion for education, mentoring apprentices internally and working externally to inspire and grow the next generation of hairdressers.
I love that through our craft we are able to be a big part of someone’s life, we are there through the highs and lows. Being apart of someone’s life unfolding is a really special place to be so for me hairdressing ticked many boxes and being around people was on that top of that list.
I love hair cutting! Big transformations or small tweaks that can change someone’s shape sparks so much joy for me.
I wanted to find a salon that felt like home, I wanted to be apart of something bigger and I wanted the opportunities that being in a new city would bring. I was lucky to find Ella&Jade, hair salon in Woolloongabbaand it’s brought me so much growth along with a family that will be part of my life for years to come.
I spend most of my weekends with friends & family, whether it’s watching a movie with my mum, doing brunch with a bestie or a drink or two with the work fam, my weekends usually involve people that I love.
