Why Hairdressing?

I first chose hairdressing because I didn’t know what to do when I was young, so one day I cut my brother’s hair with kitchen scissors and my mum told me “you should become a hairdresser!” I tried it and I liked it, and I’ve been a hairdresser for 11 years now!

Before hairdressing I started with building studies for 3 years, and then hairdressing studies for 4 years. I was a barber for men for 2 years and I started to work by myself. Once back hairdressing for women and men, I was working 2 and a half years in France 2 and a half years in Montreal, Canada

Why Ella&Jade?

I chose Ella&Jade because there is diversity, we can style different types of people and different textures of hair. The team are very open minded and very professional, and that’s why I chose to start the adventure with Ella&Jade. I don’t know if there’s anything I can improve in the team but I will keep my good energy and share my skills wherever I can if someone needs advice or help

My favourite thing about the salon is the good team spirit and the mix of different culture. In the salon, I like the mix of the bricks and the marble, I find it’s a very good choice and beautiful!

What aspect of hairdressing are you most interested in and why?

I like the creative aspect, I like taking pictures of my work because I consider hairdressing like art. I like every texture of hair, my specialties are balayage and highlights, natural looks, and colour corrections. I started hairdressing when I did a haircut on my little brother with the kitchen scissors when I was 19 and I never stopped - Now, I am 30 years old and it’s still always a passion for me. I like the contact with people, the creativity, and helping people if they need advice, etc. 

Beyond the salon:

Outside of work I like to do sport (running, biking, or beach volley) or go to concerts for live music. I love travel and discovering the world, I lived in Montreal Canada for 2 and a half years and now I’m in Australia and I want to see everything!
