More about Asa…

Hi I’m Asa, I’m an apprentice at Ella and Jade Woolloongabba. I am very passionate about building connections with other people and making a difference in someone’s life through creative art, whether it is hair, make up or nails.

Why hairdressing?

I chose hairdressing because of my passion in the beauty industry and love for creativity. I am dedicated to learning about different hair types and creating unique transformations.

Why Ella&Jade?

I chose Ella and Jade because of their inclusivity-embracing all hair types. I hope to bring to the team excellent in-salon experience ensuring every person feels truly pampered and cared for during their visit. My favourite things about the team is the  diversity. Everyone embraces their unique personality and talents and work together to create memorable experiences for clients and maintain a respectful warm atmosphere. I love the Ella and Jades interior design as it reflects a blend of aesthetics and practicality which is not only visually pleasing but also creates a very inviting atmosphere for every visitor.

What aspect of hairdressing are you most interested in and why?

I am looking forward to qualifying as a professional stylist with a specialty in working with curly textured hair. As a curly haired girl myself, I am passionate about learning how to cut, style, colour and transform-customise unique looks that is suited to each individual.

Beyond the salon...

Outside of work I enjoy a friendly game of volleyball and dancing. I love getting involved-serving in community and in Church.  And to relax I love exploring cute cafes for coffee & brunch with family and friends.
